The Chill Lounge armchair was designed by Nanna Ditzel and is made of Alu-Rattan and ArtFibre materials. The armchair is made in the natural color which is original. Alu-Rattan is weather-resistant powder-coated aluminum and ArtFibre are man-made fibers made from polyethylene that require no maintenance and can withstand the sun’s UV radiation. Due to the weather-resistant materials, the furniture can be left outdoors all year round without maintenance. The fine bindings of the seat and backrest are made on an aluminum frame by skilled wicker craftsmen. The cold makes for a naturally beautiful element in any outdoor setting. The armchair is strong, comfortable and suitable for private use. Chill, originally called Kaminstol, is a sculptural installation that almost fluidly integrates furniture with the body and the environment. It was originally used in collaboration with Robert W., who pioneered rattan production in Denmark and was characterized by its exceptional craftsmanship as well as innovative ideas and use of materials.
