Order preparation:
Orders are prepared after payment . If , during preparation of your order, any circumstance occurs that makes the delivery unfeasible, the sale will be canceled and the amount paid is returned to the customer.
Exchanges and Returns:
According to Decree of Law 84/2008, 67/2003 and the Community Directive 1999/44/EC), items purchased in this online store can be exchanged up to 30 days after receipt of the item.
You can take the item to our CCB store or ship it. Please contact us in advance so that we can better organize this process. Transport costs, whenever they occur, are paid by the customer. It is essential to keep it in the original packaging, in perfect condition for sale. You can exchange it for another item or purchase voucher, valid for 3 months. According to the legislation in force, the obligation to return in cash only applies when it is impossible to exchange the item for another equal one. In case of exchange for an item of lower value, the amount due is always refunded in the form of a purchase voucher, which can be used in future purchases, in one of our stores.
We do not exchange plants, food products, perfumery and hygiene items, as well as items purchased at a discount or promotion. There are also no exchanges of items that have been specifically ordered at the customer’s request, such as, for example, fabrics, furniture, lighting or any other, or upholstery, clothing, assembly, transport or other services that have been awarded.
In the last quarter of the year, the exchange period is extended until the 15th of January of the following year. There are no exchanges of ornaments or pieces with decorations specific to the Christmas season, such as crockery, candles or textiles with elements alluding to Christmas.
The right to exchange or repair an item that proves to be defective (for example, an electric coffee maker that does not work or a chair that does not light up) can be claimed up to 2 years after its purchase. This warranty does not apply to wear and tear, or damage caused by use (such as a chipped ceramic, a broken pair of glasses, a punctured handkerchief, etc.). Non-conformities (for example, an item of a different color from the packaging; the lens of a pair of glasses with a different graduation to that indicated on the same; or an exchange in the reference of an item compared to the one registered in the order form) will be subject to exchange within the two-year warranty. In these cases, according to the law, HANGAR has 30 days to carry out the exchange or repair or decide to make a refund in cash or voucher.
