Designer: Vilhelm LauritzenThe VL Ring Crown family of luminaires derives from a model designed by architect Vilhelm Lauritzen for the Danish public broadcaster’s building in Copenhagen in the 1940s. The wall and pendant versions, with their characteristic organic shape, were widely used. For this project, Lauritzen also created the VL38 and VL45 luminaires. The VL Ring Crown was never installed in the building, but shortly afterwards, a version of the Ring Crown was launched based on the original designs. (Louis Poulsen brand)
